The Buy Back fund balance at the start of FY26 is budgeted at $58,610, which is a
decrease of 3% from the FY25 beginning fund balance.

balance. This is standard practice as the District spends down the Buy Back fund’s
reserve money. The District has operated in this manner for the past six fiscal years.

spent towards Buy Back Benefits. There has been a 49% decrease in this budgeted sector
from FY25. There are no budgeted transfers out of the Buy Back fund in FY26.
