Our Retirees
In 2025, the District celebrated the retirement of Firefighter/Medics Eugene “Geno” Villanueva
and Todd “TJ” Lewis. Their retirements were honored with a Walkout Ceremony on January 31,
2025. Villanueva is commended for his 22 years of service to the District, and Lewis, for his 21
years of service to the District. Currently, there are three scheduled retirements in 2026. This
includes the retirement of one Battalion Chief and two Paid-On-Call Firefighter/Medics. The
District commends David Sudis for his 30 years of service, Mark Uzitas for his 24 years of
service to the District, and Allen Peruzzato for his 21 years of service to the District.
