FISCAL YEAR 2025 MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Completed the District’s new
Strategic Plan (2025-2027) with 17
goals and objectives to address over
the next 3 years.
• Purchased 12 sets of new turnout
gear
• Purchased an EMS tent and air
conditioning unit for special events
• Purchased new trench/shoring
equipment for technical rescue
• Purchased a new highway vehicle
strut kit and rescue air bags for
vehicle extrications and special
rescue
• Purchased a new training vehicle and
reserve command vehicle – F150
• Made improvements to station 3,
removed blacktop parking lot and
replaced with concrete. Also made
small concrete repairs on the front
apron
• Purchased new equipment for EMS
Administrator and Community Risk
Reduction programs
• Hired/onboarded a new Fire Analyst
• Hired +1 FTE firefighter paramedic
in preparation for future retirement
• The last two Paid-On-Call
firefighters retired 12/31/25, bringing
an end to the Paid-On-Call program
• Added thermal protection sensors to
the training tower
• Approved five new members to join
the fire investigations team
• Developed a new Battalion Chief

• Received new portable radios

• Developed new risk reduction
programs, home safety visits, safe
sitter, and snow angels
• Developed and delivered a
community wide newsletter (every
household)
• Received the GFOA Budget
Presentation award for FY25.
• Received $18,251 in grant funding.
• Hired/onboarded a new EMS
