Assessing the Current Environment
The Strategic Planning Process began with a meeting with the consultant and Bartlett
Fire District staff. The meeting included a review of strategic planning principles, a
discussion of organizational value proposition, the status of vision and mission
statements, and a tutorial on preparing an Environmental Scan. The session
concluded with a timeline for the planning process, assignments for preparation of the
Environmental Scan, and a process for conducting the stakeholder outreach.
