AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As a means of promoting organizational buy-in, shared responsibility, and diversification of
services, the District utilizes Areas of Responsibility (AOR). These AORs divide services into
groupings based on content, such as Fleet Services or Training, before they are assigned to
a District employee or employees. AOR assignments are based on specialty, interest, and
experience level. After assignment, the budgeting and service delivery of each AOR
becomes the responsibility of its designated employee or employees. A map of current AOR
assignments and oversight is attached below, followed by a detailed breakdown of each
AOR’s description and budget for FY25.
