Budget Highlights:
The Buy Back Fund will be eliminated from the District’s budget in 2030. As a result, the
dollar amount dedicated to this fund will continue to decrease until it has been closed by
the District. This decrease will be reflected in the District’s annual budget.

The Buy Back fund balance at the start of FY25 is budgeted at $60,500, which is a
decrease of 70% from the FY24 beginning fund balance.
There are no budgeted revenues in FY25 and the District will be operating on the
fund’s balance. This is standard practice as the District spends down the Buy Back
fund’s reserve money. The District has operated in this manner for the past five
fiscal years.
Expenditures for the Buy Back fund in FY25 total $26,000. All expenditures will be
spent towards Buy Back Benefits. There has been a 69% decrease in this budgeted
sector from FY24. There are no budgeted transfers out of the Buy Back fund in FY25.
