PERSONNEL ACHIEVEMENTS
PROMOTIONS:
There were two planned promotions in FY24. This included the
promotion of Kevin Chapmen to the position of Lieutenant and
Richard Gustafson to the position of Battalion Chief. In FY25,
there are no anticipated promotions.
NEW HIRES:
In FY24, the District welcomed one new Firefighter/Medic to its
ranks. Ryan Bernabei was sworn in on April 22, 2024. In FY25,
the District welcomed one new probationary firefighter, Nathen
Smith, to its ranks. Additionally, the District began an
apprenticeship program, and welcomed two new apprentices:
Michael Kindness and Alexis Elies.
