SAFE SITTER COURSE
Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare children ages 11-16 to be safe
when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.
The Instructor-led classes are filled with games and role-playing exercises meant to teach students basic safety, child care, first aid, and
rescue skills.
The Safe Sitter® course is a 6-hour Instructor-led course taught at
Bartlett Fire Protection District Station 1. Currently, all classes are
capped at 16 students and operate on a first come, first served basis.
Due to the success of our previous course in August, we are looking
to hold another course in January 2026. Follow us on social media or
check back on our website to get updates on the class date.
